ST PETERSBURG— The Saltwater Ventures Team closed on two transactions today, including a short sale listing that has been in the works for nearly six months! We love helping our clients, but this transaction was distinct because it will help a great couple
move on after several years of unexpected challenges. For us, Real Estate is all about improving our clients lives, and this transaction was such a special way to do just that!
When we first met our sellers, it was because one of our buyers was interested in the house. That deal fell through, but during the process we learned more about the seller’s tough times and agreed to take on the listing, which
we knew would be a short sale. This was our first short sale, and as it turns out, it was anything but!
Over the course of several months, we were able to negotiate with two lenders on our clients’ behalf, attended multiple City Code Enforcement meetings, and made dozens of phone calls to the title company to arrange updated
contracts and disclosures. In the end, our sellers will walk away debt free and the buyer has plans to remodel the property and create the home our sellers’ once hoped it would be.
